Makeup has been a passion of mine since i was a little girl dragging greasy pigmentless lipsticks and eyeshadow sticks across my face, making fishlips and staring at my reflection in my little plastic lighted pink makeup mirror. Back when everything tasted like watermelon and every girl felt beautiful when she looked in the mirror, makeup was effortless! Flash forward twenty plus years and that wild-eyed little girl still stares back at me in my lighted makeup mirror. But instead of smearing on lipgloss and greasesticks, i'm artfully layering shadows, liners, blushes, lipsticks and mascaras to create the face I want to see. Sure, makeup isnt as effortless as the days of glitter gel and lipsmackers, but it sure is still a hell of a lot of fun!
Now I know what you're thinking; this broad sure has a lot to say about makeup, but i promise you my posts won't typically be so wordy!I plan on filling these pages with reviews, rants and raves, some hauls (meager though I must warn!) and plenty of tips and tricks I have picked up through my exploration of makeup. I may not be a trained professional but I certainly have a lot to share and plenty of material to draw from. I mean how could a girl who holds makeup in such high esteem that she dedicates an entire room of her tiny 3 bedroom house to her "stash" ever run out of things to say?
So my newest friends, i suppose it is time to shut up and get right down to it! Thank you for sharing your time with me. Please be patient as I learn how to do the whole "blog thing" and I promise not to turn every post into an epic novel such as the one you're finishing now :)
